There are forks in the road

There are forks in the road

Our lives are not a straight path

there are forks in the road

there are detours, road closures;

we wander in the wilderness

we become lost in our spirits

prodigals, separated from God.

We wander, we are prodigals,

lost sons and daughters;

we struggle, we journey

on the road, in the world.

There are forks in the road

there are detours, road closures;

but Christ made a way

for us to turn from our wandering

He made a way for us to come home

to the Father, to our God.
