A wildfire burning - v3
A brush fire rages
A wildfire burns
commissioning each disciple;
The flames of Pentecost
flowed within them
a roaring wind alive.
Winds of fire move
A wildfire burning
consumes fear, trepidation;
They were ignited,
they began ministry,
sharing with the whole world.
Flames anoint each disciple
A wildfire still burns
ignites our lives, our spirits;
The indwelling Holy Spirit
fills us with passion, with confidence,
sets our hearts ablaze.
