Flames still burn

Flames still burn

igniting new believers;

the timid share the Good News -

God is alive.

The fire rages on

living flames of Pentecost;

the Spirit calls us still

to burn with Christ’s light.

God commissions disciples;

the Church comes alive;

but the fire rages on,

lives are ablaze.
