Blood of the innocents,
unwitting martyrs, victims,
caught in geopolitics, war, terror,
nowhere to run, to hide,
their homes no sanctuary,
Blood-soaked streets.
 
Blood of the innocents,
forever terror, horror, atrocities,
endless war becoming commonplace,
genocide, martyrs, victims,
no side clean, righteous,
Blood-soaked streets…
