We grieve for the innocents,
for all victims of terror,
We pray that peace would come,
to every nation state…
 
We grieve for the innocents,
for every child, for every grandparent,
We cry over the blood-soaked rubble,
for the dead in the street…
 
We grieve for the innocents,
for the ache of their loved ones,
We pray that peace would come,
to every nation state…
