Imperishable, immortal – v2

Imperishable, immortal,
dead in the flesh, alive in the Spirit,
we will rise, we will ascend triumphant,
we will rise to the highest heaven,
at the trumpet’s call…
 
Imperishable, immortal,
we will climb up to heaven,
our earthly flesh transfigured,
we will rise as light creatures,
as we rise through the skies…
 
Imperishable, immortal,
light beings, ascendant, rising,
our bodies now spirit, alive with Christ,
joining God in the highest heaven,
at the trumpet’s call…
