inwardly we are being renewed – v2

we come before you, oh God,
drinking in the waters of life,
the love within holy scripture,
giving our lives over to God,
to our risen Lord and Savior,
hearing the Spirit’s calling to us,
in the darkness of our struggles,
inwardly we are being renewed,
transformed by the Spirit’s musings…
 
inwardly we are being renewed
we are being restored within our spirits,
our minds barely can begin to grasp
the renewing of the Holy Spirit,
the breath of God, the mind of Christ,
filling us to overflowing, abundance,
water washing over us, filling us,
inwardly we are being renewed,
step by step, day by day…
