This madness must end – v2 #Ukraine

The carnage must stop,
This madness must end,
It is too much, too terrible,
Terror raining down, incessant,
A decade of war crimes, evil,
Falling on a sovereign nation-state…
 
While the world watches, silent,
Letting them go it alone, a people,
A nation emulating Tank Man,
Defiant, standing resolute, courageous,
Against the forces of evil, or terror,
While darkness stalks the street…
 
This madness must end,
No more excuses, half-measures,
No more turning a blind eye to truth,
To the horrors being committed, daily,
Standing with this people, this nation,
Until evil has been defeated, until victory,
Until a just peace comes to this land…
