Not like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly – v2

Alive
A promise of this holy scripture, our bodies,
Not like a caterpillar becoming a temporal butterfly,
Far more profound, more wonderful than this,
Bodies, our lives transformed, transfigured
Not from just one state to another
But from mortal to immortality
From perishable to imperishable
Rising up to the highest heaven
To live in paradise…
 
To live in paradise,
Rising up to the highest heaven
Transformed from mortal to immortality
Moving from life to life eternal, infinity, alive,
Our bodies, our lives transcendent, illumined,
Becoming, far more profound, more wonderful,
Not like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, human,
But a promise of this scriptures, our bodies in heaven
Alive, living with eternal God…
