Why don’t I believe You Love me – v2

My actions speak louder,
than any words I profess,
how I live my life,
the choices I make…
 
Why don’t I believe You Love me,
that You saved me from the pit,
my Lord, my God, My Savior,
my Creator, the Potter of my life…
 
I proclaim Your scripture,
but I keep taking back my sin,
I hold on to what You have forgiven,
on the cross, that You took to the grave…
 
My sins have been forgiven, buried,
on the cross, in that grave,
You have raised me to life, eternal,
so I may live into my call…
 
I believe You love me,
You have anointed me for a purpose,
I must now act more boldly,
I must daily pick up my cross…
