We must run our own race,
the way set before us;
we must not turn to sin,
the desires of the flesh…
 
We must run our own race,
in faith with perseverance;
we must cleave to God,
the source of our strength…
 
We must run our own race
we must turn or waver;
we stand in the gap for others,
we must truly love our neighbor...
