The Enemy speaks a Lie – v2

The Enemy breathes a message,
the Enemy speaks a Lie,
that we are unworthy,
for salvation in Christ…
 
The Enemy claims our identity,
is for the pit, the grave,
the Enemy denies we are
beloved Children of God…
 
We are mortal clay, flesh,
we dwell upon this earth,
listening to the Lie of the Enemy,
too often we believe His curse…
 
The Enemy is already defeated,
sin has lost its sting, its power,
but we hold onto his Lie,
not believing we are Children of God…
