For just today

I fall into prayer, Lord,
in praise, in worship,
I seek Your face,
to feel You with me.

Not for eternity,
for the future,
For just today,
I seek You, Lord.

Walk with me,
lift me up, Lord,
For I am broken,
I need Your love.

Not forever, Lord,
though that is my wish, truly,
For today, right now,
I trust in You.
