#Transparent – v5 #poetry #God #Christ #Spirit #love #grace #trust #faith #prayer #transparently

We are called to be transparent,
to be an open page, a book,
for us to receive true healing,
to be honest with one another,
trusting they will not harm us,
our secrets are safe with them,
for us to be restored, made whole,
to trust in the healing process…
 
I want to live my life transparently,
to admit my scars, my stains,
where I am broken, jagged,
to be fully, totally, honest,
sins that I have committed,
fighting lies, curses spoken over me,
to free myself of their power
their control over my life…
 
I want to be transparent,
an open page, unfettered,
with myself, and all others,
to be open, brutally honest,
to be emptied, to be filled,
to be a witness to God's grace,
God's love for every prodigal,
For everyone broken like me...
 
I strive to be transparent, honest,
to be who I am truly, open,
truth of my sins, my failings,
scars, the weights I have carried,
With every word I offer, my words,
authentic, real, true, and open,
so that others will find peace,
living their lives transparently too…
