Lord, I am stuck, I am frozen,
stuck in quicksand, in cement…
help me move forward, Lord,
to listen to Your whisper, to hear Your voice,
to block out the noise, the demons,
my inner voice, my struggles, my pain…
Lord, help me to take the next right step…
 
Lord, I overthink, I fear, but
I am not asking for a detailed roadmap,
every step from beginning to end,
carved into stone, laid out perfectly…
I want, I long, I seek, I trust in Your plan,
Your calling, Your purpose,
for each next right step…
 
Lord, I know You love me,
that You have always been with me…
Help me to let go of control, Lord,
to have peace in my spirit, my body,
to cleave to Your still small voice,
not demanding answers, promises,
but taking that next right step…
 
Lord, I trust in Your goodness,
that You will be with me,
that You will protect me…
Lead me, guide me, safely,
I submit more fully, by faith,
so that I may bring You glory,
as I walk each next right step…
