Unique Gifts - 2

Unique gifts
from the creator’s heart
each of us
given our part
Ours to use
as we are called
for the kingdom work
giving our all

“God gives each of us our own unique gifts. It is our job to recognize these gifts, nurture them, and utilize them to live up to our full potential. Look around you and inside of you and recognize what you do have. It may be an artistic talent, a business talent, or strength of character. God gives you the resources for success. But it is up to you to recognize them and use them to their fullest.”, by T. D. Jakes

earlier poem,
“A Gift”
-------------------
A Gift

In either translation,
“A gift”, “whatever gift”, not the gifts, the talents
a singular gift we each are given
by the creator, for His glory
Our “starfish”, the thing we are to share
the way we are to serve
A member of the body of Christ
a disciple, a part of the church
Each of us gifted, for His glory
Sharing our voices, our hands,
our special gift with the world
in our creator’s, our savior’s name
