Simple acts of kindness
offering them hope
lifted from the clutter
raised up in love
Planting seeds, growing
rising within
coming forward,
confident, ready to begin
Imagine a world
like Emmanuel’s dream
holding each other closer
not saying a word
Sweet spirits singing
rising in the air
tears coming
because we feel it within
A world possible
if we but believe
donning the shoes of Emmanuel
hope in us there
