Emerging from the womb

Emerging from the womb

emerging from the womb

from the winter, secret,

a microcosm, a kernel,

life ready for sunlight

for the warmth of springtime

life exploding into view

the design, the intricacies, the structures

all of these revealed as the lilacs open

their buds bursting, unfurling

life in completeness, wholeness

a glimpse of eternity, creation,

seeing the hand of God

life in miniature, in secret,

from conception, awareness,

the kernel, each blossom, the bunches

unfolding, bursting forth, revealing,

perfection, the precision,

the love of Almighty God
