Love in the present tense – v2

 

Love everyone in the present tense

as Christ loved us

as Christ loves us
as Christ loves us still;

Put on the garment of Christ

to be His light-bearers;

Sow seeds of love

for God to reap the harvest.

 

Love in the present tense

with passion, believing;

Offer everyone love

being bound to Christ Jesus;

Everyone, each neighbor,

deserving of love

no exceptions, conditions;

Love everyone as Christ loved us

as Christ loves us still.

 

Love in the present tense,

with your whole being;

Love even yourself

as Christ loves us all;

Love as Christ loves us

completely, deep feelings;

Love all you meet

to the ends of the earth.
