Lord, God, watch over our leaders – v2

Lord, God, watch over our leaders,
Raise up men and women of righteousness,
of mercy, of fidelity to their calling,
Guard their minds, their hearts,
Let Your presence, Your Spirit,
dwell within them, their spirits,
May they do Your will and Your work…
 
Lord, God, raise up men and women,
holy servants, true, authentic leaders,
May they care for our nation, justly,
May they lead us in Your ways, in love,
May they lead our people, in mercy,
May they rise up, may they walk,
humbly, in all righteousness…
 
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
