Lord, watch over our leaders

Lord, God, watch over our leaders,
Guard their minds, their hearts,
Let your presence, your Spirit,
dwell within them, their spirits,
May they do your will and your work…
 
May they care for our nation, may they lift up,
May they walk, may they lead us,
in your ways, in love, in mercy,
May they lead our people,
in all righteousness…
