Many saw the risen Christ
and proclaimed the resurrection,
the power of love to rise,
over sin and death…
 
Many saw the risen Christ,
and witnessed to Him,
just as was foretold, prophesied,
as written in ancient scripture…
 
Many saw the risen Christ,
and we are their descendants,
later-born disciples of Jesus,
believing in their witness…
