Human life is all that matters

Our hopes, our dreams, our future,
as a people, as humanity, depends
on a vital message, to overcome terror,
imperial drives, power, the ambitions,
indifference to cruelty, to suffering,
to restore the light of freedom,
to bring about healing, restoration,
within these ancient lands…
 
The West, all of humanity, must unite
to stem the tide of aggression, this terror,
truth about that nation, their blindness,
to the humanity of their fellow man,
to stand in the breach, in the gap, with them,
shoulder to shoulder and heart to heart,
bringing victory, healing, for a just peace to rise,
within these ancient lands…
