The Authority of Jesus – v2

These words of scripture,
after His first major sermon,
speaking with power, authority,
unlike the other teachers, experts
in the Law, in God’s Word…
 
The authority of Jesus,
was in His identity, His name,
claiming who He is, the Christ,
at the beginning of His ministry,
that He is the Son of God…
 
Not a moral teacher,
not a good person, no,
Jesus proclaimed He was
the One prophesied,
He was the Christ…
 
The authority of Jesus,
was in His words of power,
claiming who He is, Christ,
the One who created,
the One who descending,
the One now seated on high…
