my heritage, my portion,
my hope for a future,
Your Word, Your Law,
my guiding purpose,
joy that fills my heart…
all I long for, all I seek,
embodied within You,
the source of my strength…
 
a rightful heir, a son
of the Most High, of You,
my Creator, my Savior,
Your Word is my light,
Oh, living God, eternal,
teach me Your ways…
I ponder Your Law,
all of my days…
