Your Word, oh God, is sweeter,
sweeter than precious honey,
even from the honeycomb,
better for me, for my life,
than anything else on earth,
my portion, my comfort,
You are my calling, my light…
 
Your Love, oh God, is sweeter,
Your precious blood you offered,
Your sacrifice to save my life,
more precious than gold, sweeter
than honey, even from the honeycomb,
You are my refuge, my strong tower,
You are the source of my strength…
