taking off my old self
my shame, my brokenness
turning away from my flesh
turning my life toward God…
 
convicted of my sin
my life of estrangement
giving my life, my will to God
for in Him is my portion…
 
claiming my inheritance
my name as one of His children
casting off my earthly self
focused on God in heaven…
