out of the pit of my sin
You raise me from the waters
the rage of my struggle
the chaos of my brokenness…
The way of all flesh…
 
out of the pit You saved me
You set me on the waters…
I walk with my risen Lord
even though I am broken…
He is my eternal hope…
 
out of the pit You raised me
to walk upon the waters
to turn from my wickedness
into my purpose, my calling,
as an heir with Christ…
 
out of the pit of my sin
The Snares of the Devil
from deep in the waters
You raised me from death…
The way of all flesh…
