stop, take time of rest
sit at the feet of Jesus
recline in His love
enter into worship, into prayer
spending time with God
listen, within this peace
nestled in His arms
we can hear the beating of his heart
the love song of the Spirit
of the grace of God
to be this close to Jesus
for Him to call us friend
for Him to be the bridegroom
our prayer as we enter in
our prayer without end
aching for this level of connection
for that gift of intimacy
to rest in our Savior
to recline at His feet
lingering in His presence
we are offered this gift
to be this close to Christ
touching the face of God
to lounge in His love
to lean upon Jesus, our comfort
to learn at His feet
