Now more than ever
we must stand with Ukraine
in this crucible, in this moment,
staring at the terror, at the chaos he wrought,
in the eyes of the dogs of war, in the utter destruction,
seeking to deny their existence as a state.
Now more than ever
we must stand resolute with them,
with their president, with their people,
to go, to be with them in this moment, this hour,
to give feet to our promise, our commitment to them,
written in blood, in treasure, a year ago.
Now more than ever
our support cannot flag, must not wane,
we cannot turn from this sacred duty,
to Ukraine, to her people, to democracy itself;
We must help her fight the horde, the aggressor,
to defeat Russia until victory is won.
Now more than ever
the whole world is watching,
the dictator, the despots, the authoritarian
states
to test, to see, to watch our behavior, our
resolve,
in this time, in this moment, this
anniversary
of the invasion, the barbarism, the
terror,
to see if we will stand with Ukraine until
victory is won.
