God did not destroy me – v2

God did not destroy me
when I have been the enemy;
God has not killed me,
at least in this life…
 
God did not destroy me
He forgave and sustains me;
God offered me mercy,
Christ gave me new life…
 
God has protected me
from the curse of my enemies;
God alone is righteous
from beginning to end…
 
God did not destroy me
and for that I am humbly grateful;
God gave me another chance,
at least in this life…
