Pulling Your words from the ether – v2

Gathering God’s whisper, His promise,
pulling Your words from the ether,
with my hands of clay, my distracted mind,
I hear You calling to me, whispering, calling,
offering hope in chaos, focus in the maelstrom,
gifting me words of purpose, of love,
of a sense of calling, a passion, ignited,
fed with Your wooing, pursuing, present,
here with me now, typing, sharing,
alive in this moment, this present,
anxiously hopeful, for Your purpose,
Your calling, to be revealed each day…
 
Gathering God’s whisper, His promise,
pulling Your words from the ether,
bending my ear to listen, to hear,
Your love, Your call for my life,
knowing I have a purpose, a reason,
why You gifted me breath,
longing to walk into my calling,
to be Your light, Your witness,
Your servant in this life, authentic,
to be more courageous, righteous,
sure of my footing, my steps,
by bending to submission, trusting,
in Your whisper in the dark…
