Show me You have vanquished my enemies – v2

Show me You have vanquished my enemies,
demons, the forces that seek to destroy me,
this promise in holy scripture written,
was this only for David, Your shepherd,
King above Your flock…
 
Show me how these words of ancient scripture,
a promise You gave to David, how the words,
relate to my way, my life, to our walks,
that this is a universal promise,
that You protect the flock…
