An empty suit – v2

A canard of wisdom,
devoid of character,
played by the enemy,
our currency worthless,
on the global stage…
 
An easy mark,
an empty suit,
a player, played,
stripped naked,
utterly exposed…
 
An amoral specter,
our enemy laughing,
giddy, overwhelmed,
by their good fortune,
oh, how he was played…
