standing in the wheat field

standing aghast, mouths agape,
standing in the wheat field
before the living Jesus
hearing His words of authority,
His power over Sabbath,
offering soul rest…
 
how life would have been different…
if only they had believed Him
their Messiah standing before them,
the Son of God, of Man,
offering them Salvation,

true Sabbath rest...
