Release me of my chains
my addictions, my patterns,
all the many ways
I separate myself from God…
 
Free me for this day,
just one day of favor,
like manna in the desert,
just enough…
 
Steel me from temptation,
defeat each lie of Satan,
give me strength, Lord,
my risen hold and Savior…
