A bit of glass in my heart
jagged shards define me
Your arrows are within me
tearing me apart,
But You are with me…
Make haste to help me,
I need You today, Lord…
 
Have mercy upon me, Lord,
for I am surely guilty,
unworthy of Your Love,
Your infinite Grace…
My iniquity is not hidden from You
You know my sin completely,
I need You today, Lord…
 
In Your mercy, Your grace,
pull me back from the pit,
the judgment upon me…
Raise me from my sin
so that I might dwell with You,
my God, my Savior,
reach down and rescue me
I need You today, Lord…
