Joy in the coming
to know the spirit of the Lord
walking with my savior
on this lonely, dusty road
Going into worship
spending time with him
into quiet reflection
into the loving word
Joy in his guiding
the comfort of his hand
steadfast love through the ages
all part of his holy plan
Going where the Lord calls
answering the urgings within
following the path of Christ
that I may enter in
