One lost sheep
gone horribly astray
near to my Savior
but denying his name
Wanting to run to him
to be by his side
wanting to fight for his freedom
for him to stay alive
Trying to be near him
wanting to run away
instead near to my Savior
but denying his name
Hearing a sound familiar
but now the voice of judgment
the fact of my betrayer
ringing from the cock’s lips
Looking toward him
pain in my eyes
looking into the eyes of my shepherd
about to sacrifice his life
