drawn to the source – v2

drawn to the source, primordial,
when creatures rose from the ocean
a journey from comfort
into the deep, the garden,
wooed from civilization
to another time, a place,
to older, ancient, stuff.
 
drawn to the source, foment,
descent, rising, unfettered,
a revelation, a revolution,
long lost forms of communication
rested from rugged, ragged arms,
laid on our table, the palette,
a living breathing word salad.
