Maybe Georgia had
something right
in her paintings of living
flowers;
Something human,
evocative,
almost erotic, of
living flesh,
the suppleness of the
petals.
Lady slipper
illumined, shining
out in the wood, in
the spring morning light,
the flesh of her skin
engorged, alive;
Maybe Georgia was honest
in her painting of
flowers.
The tiny laces, the
booty of down
in the flesh of pink,
of skin,
something drawing us,
enticing;
Something erotic,
sensuous,
in the shape of Georgia’s
flowers.
