Building their nest – v2

Building their nest
taking turns, sharing,
returning to the same light pole
as last year, repeating,
making this spot their home.
 
Lights changed by the hands of man,
but returning to the same spot,
making a nest, closest to the wild,
beyond the parking lot,
In the ancient city...
