Repeating the Big Lie

Numbing all of us, in the cloud of confusion,

Repeating the Big Lie, the false claims,

Propaganda, disinformation, in real time.

 

A Harold Hill, a snake oil salesman,

Relying on charisma, gallons of Kool Aid,

Gullibility of the rubes, of the masses.

 

The guard rails removed, discarded,

Silencing Elder statesmen, shackled,

Bound and gagged, an Enemy’s List.

 

Repeating the Big Lie, the election stolen,

Counting on the army, the militias,

Usurping power, position, at all cost.
