Weaving together the imagery
of the flowing stream
the believers in the waters
connected in time
connecting the drops of the water
the living waters flowing
welling up within us
as we have been gifted
flowing through, beyond
to those downstream
all part of the movement
the sharing of the message
of Christ’s coming
God’s grace, sacrifice
healing us in the waters
quenching our very thirst
leading us on
part of the flowing stream
all of us connected
in God’s holy dream
