We are complicit in terror,
there is not neutrality in genocide,
we forfeit our humanity, our spirits,
our souls cry out in anguish,
our consciences condemn us,
for our inaction, our gross timidity,
not rallying around the innocents,
emboldening those committing terror,
remaining silent while they murder,
while Russia commits genocide…
a pit of our complacency, our silence,
our timidity, our snares that hold us,
they must be cut, they must be cast off,
we must speak boldly in this moment,
through our actions to defeat the tyrant,
a soulless dictator, his heartless minions,
the greatest threat of terror in the world,
to hold Vladmir Putin accountable,
for his crimes against Ukraine…
