the talisman of this vista – v3

Touching something far deeper

returning to this place often

a physical presence

the talisman of this vista

a well, a spring flowing

calling us to stop, to look,

to drink more deeply

to pause and marvel

at the creation of God.

 

Going to this place, stopping,

gathering the image

capturing a piece of eternity

dipping into the well

drinking of the cup

the talisman of this vista

feeding my soul, my spirit,

a place of rich meaning

right in my hometown.
