“I have sinned against the Lord”
 
pure confession
not holding anything back,
speaking truth, transparent,
“I have sinned against God”…
 
David’s response
When he heard the rebuke
not denying, but confessing,
“I have sinned against God”…
 
pure confession
Should be our posture in life
to restore us to the Father,
“I have sinned against God”…
 
our response, our words,
when we are reproved, rebuked,
should follow David’s example,
“I have sinned against God”…
