we long to be honest
to be transparent in our walk
we strive to be faithful
to turn from the flesh…
 
we struggle with the fear of man
to find worth in their judgment
when God took all of our shame
and made us worthy on the cross…
 
we must change our vision
to see the value of reproof
no matter their evil motives
to turn closer to God…
 
we struggle with the fear of man
our pride convicts us
but every sin we ever committed
have been left on the cross…
