Every pain I have suffered
Every harm against me
Every sin I hold onto
Is a sin against God…
 
Every resentment present
Every burden on my heart
My desire for earthly justice
Is a sin against God…
 
God alone is righteous
His love is perfect
His judgment is righteous
In His time alone…
 
When we fail to trust
When we do not give God our hurt
We sin against God
Who paid the awful price…
