He doesn’t need this prayer,
these words lifted to heaven,
I need to say these words
to reconcile myself to Him…
 
I release God
from the hurt I place upon Him
for my false claims
the pain I blamed Him for…
 
God did not cause my hurt
He did not allow it
this world of sinful men
as I am myself…
 
I release God
I forgive Him fully
He never left me,
God did not forsake me…
